Customer Browses your Website
- He/She adds products to shopping cart.
- Goes to checkout page ( secure page within specialised third party credit card processing page)
- Customer details are taken, name, address, credit card details, delivery address etc
- Your customers credit card is 'processed' for clearance of funds from their account in exchnage for your service or product.
- Customer directed to download page (If non-tangible product - software) OR directed to url on your site (usually with receipt of payment, order number and confirmation that their purchase is being shipped)
- Your company then fulfills the order (If tangible product) and ships it to destination.
- Offer of email support and order tracking highly recommended (If tangible product - example widgets)
- Third Party Clearing house ( payment processing company) wires money to your bank account, once all factors are satisfied.
- Once system is up and running, you only pay third party credit card processing company a small fee on completed Sale
