A great analogy to building web sites is building a house which some of you may have experienced. There are many factors involved and many decisions to be made. Like building a house, building a web site has a life cycle from start to finish where you need to plan carefully what you want or need and how much it is going to cost you. Depending on your requirements, I can build you something simple and straight forward or something with extra features and capability. Together we can come up with a great plan and budget to make your site professional and successful.

Web development can be divided into to main sections with many subsections. Your front end is the visual part of the site, colors you like, the 'look and feel' of the site, type of font you would like to use, the layout of the page, the number of pages and the navigation of your site. Again I will give personal attention to your exact requirements in this area and give you many suggestions and examples to help you choose.

The 'backend' relates to the 'engine' of the web site and the functionality of your website. For example, you may want to gather information from your regular customers and use it to personalize your site for them, this where you can build a database to interact with the users of your website. Another good example is storing articles for various users to read. The programming language I use to achieve this is called 'php' and the database used is called 'mysql'
